The annual Memorial Day Outing has been reimagined into a fun community event with an even greater purpose. This year, the Koshkonong Golf Academy Memorial Day Scramble will serve as a major fundraiser supporting the Little Chiefs Summer Golf Camp.

This is a joint effort between Koshkonong Golf Academy and Koshkonong Mounds CC, where the Little Chiefs program is proudly hosted each summer. The scramble is open to both KMCC members and public golfers, and everyone is invited to come out for a great day supporting local youth golf.

Each summer, more than 90 campers from Rock, Jefferson & Walworth counties participate in the 6-week Little Chiefs program, which also includes a free monthly Family Golf Night where campers can bring their families out on select Sunday evenings to showcase the skills and confidence they’ve developed throughout camp.

We are incredibly fortunate to continue offering this valuable youth program, and the support from events like this helps make it possible year after year.

Koshkonong Golf Academy board members include Maddie Housley, Brian Kammer, Pete Strom, and Ryan McGlynn. Koshkonong Golf Academy (a 501(c)(3)), believes golf should be accessible and affordable for ALL youth interested in learning the game. Camp fees are reduced for every participant - whether they are KMCC members or part of the public community.

• $30/player for KMCC Members
• $50/player for Public Golfers

Handicap Information

Minimum team handicap of 40. Players without an established handicap may be assigned one or use a “best guess” handicap.

Payouts

• 1st Place Team: $200 KMCC Credit ($50/player)
• 2nd Place Team: $160 KMCC Credit ($40/player)
• 3rd Place Team: $120 KMCC Credit ($30/player)

Tee Assignments

• Olive Tees = Men (18–59)
• Teal Tees = Men (60–74)
• Slate Tees = All Women & Men (75+)

We'll also have a Silent Auction, 50/50 Raffle, and Optional Skins Game to further support the program.
