Full Swing

My teaching philosophy focuses on the simplicity and truths of the golf swing. I believe most golfers, being novice or avid golfers, we all try to over-complicate the game. There are a millions of books, magazines, tv shows, and even movies to aid a determinded golfer to imporving his or her game. The fact of the matter is simple. For ever action there is a re-action. If we can determine which re-action we don't like...we can focus on correcting the action that caused it.
I focus primarily on 2 pre-swing principles (balance & alignment) and 2 in-swing principles (rotation & shaft angle). My goal is not only to teach my students "how to", but to educate them as to "why" things happen using the laws of cause and effect - the "reel" truths of the golf swing!

Short Game

I love teaching short game skills (putting, chipping, pitching) and I strongly believe in "reaction" vs "process". I believe most of us have the ability to make a better golf swing by "reacting" to our visualized "targetl" using our hand eye coordination versus "processing" the information infront of us to accomplish reach or target.

Ultimately I enjoy watching my students find a new level of personal confidence while learn to play the game at a higher level, whatever that level may be!

Testimonials

Matt,

When I came to you my score was averaging 110 and after your lessons I am now in the mid 90s.
I want to thank you for the expert tutelage you gave me. You helped me improve my swing and my putting tremendously.

Thanks to you, I am enjoying playing the game of golf again.

Scott

Dear Matt,

Just wanted to say THANK YOU !!!!!!!!
After my lesson on Monday, which you helped to improve 3 areas of my golf game. I played on Tuesday and took 8 strokes off of my game. It is the best I have played. That hybrid is a wonderful club, but it doesn't replace a professional like you.

Thanks again,
Maddy McCaslin
