2024 Charitable Causes

This year’s event will share proceeds with Evan Dudzek (assisting Andy & Ann Dudzek's family with mounting neurosurgery and radiation therapy expenses for their son fighting tumors on his spine); Dr. Frank Beran Memorial Medical Fund (Dr. Beran was a family practice physician in Fort Atkinson for over 50 years and passed away in 2023. He lived his life with a lending hand, and to share in his memory, donation in his name to Fort HealthCare to assist patients with medical debt) and Koshkonong Golf Academy (subsidizing programming costs for summer youth golf).

• 3 Qualifying Teams with the LOWEST group score will go to the Shootout to determine the winner!

Payment is required upon registration

• $25/per person for lunch only (Guests are welcome to attend only lunch and enjoy the silent auction and raffles, come out early and enjoy lunch at 12:45 pm)
• $75/per player entry fee for Koshkonong Mounds CC Member
• $125/per player entry fee for non-KMCC member

Come out to KMCC the day prior, Saturday, May 4 at 5 pm for early team registration, Calcutta, Skins Game, and watch the Kentucky Derby!  Outfits aren't required but encouraged!

93rd Annual Jefferson County Medalist Championship

Announcing Wisconsin's oldest running golf tournament! This premier event is June 24-25, 2023.

The format is Saturday and Sunday 36-hole stroke play event hosted at Koshkonong Mounds CC, Fort Atkinson. The tournament also serves as a qualifier for the championship flight of the Jefferson County Match Play Championship series.

• Eligibility: Entries are open to all amateur golfers who are WSGA members with a verifiable WSGA/USGA Handicap.
• Players must be a resident of Jefferson County, a senior or junior to be in high school, a member of KMCC or any other Jefferson County Golf Club.
• 7:00 am tee-times
• Two divisions: Open and Senior (60+)

Jefferson County Match Play Championship

• Divisions for Men, Women, Seniors, and Juniors of all skill levels.

• KMCC members: $25 / Non-KMCC Member: $125  Includes: Tournament Entry, Golf and Golf Car for all tournament rounds, Formal Player Dinner (dinner includes one guest)

• First Round Flights begin the week of June 26, 2023, with flights continuing until the Final Match played on August 13, 2023.

• Players must be a resident of Jefferson County, a senior or junior to be in high school, a member of KMCC or any other Jefferson County Golf Club.

Member-Only Stroke Play Event | Gross and Net Winners in each Division

Saturday, August 19 - Sunday, August 20

Ladies Division: 18-hole stroke play on Saturday

Juniors Division: 9- and 18-hole stroke play (choice for the player) on Sunday

Mens, Seniors, & Super Seniors: 36-hole stroke play on Saturday and Sunday

Your team captains will be announced with teams drawn on September 13.

Format:

September 20 - 4 Ball Matches 

• Front 9 Bestball
• Back 9 Alternate Shots
• Tee times begin at 12:00 pm and are scheduled throughout the day

September 27 - Singles Matches

• All players will play from their respective tee locations
• Tee times begin at 12:00 pm and are scheduled throughout the day

Event Fee:

$25.00/member and includes a custom "Intra-Club" team hat and cocktail after both matches in the bar.  

The losing team will pay for the steak dinner for both teams!
